What I am about to say may make me sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I believe there is a logic to it.
When the government put those on furlough, did everyone who received it, think they would never pay it back?
Did those who received furlough think that we have a kind and benevolent government?
For those who thought they would never have to pay back furlough, more fool you.
Everything is going up in price for a reason.
The more something costs, the more vat you have to pay.
One example is fuel, which has a fuel duty cost added to it.
Are you following me so far?
Let’s say that the government then end up getting back the money they paid out.
What then?
Do prices continue to rise?
More than likely.
What if prices then drop to pre cost of living crisis levels?
The government would then use that as a powerful election tool to keep them in power.
It would look as if they had been the ones instrumental in lowering prices and looking after the common people.
I guess this is really a double cunting.
A cunting for the engineered cost of living crisis, and a cunting for the government.

All out for themselves.Cunt truffles.

I dare say those in power will also be benefitting from the digusting profits being made by the private companies during this “crisis”. Good cunting
14
Huh, nobody told me we’d have to pay back all the free Covid shit.
Shake the money tree harder, you bastards.
20
When cunts I know moan about the “cost of living” crisis,I tell them they could maybe sell their stockpiles of covid tests and face coverings to raise some cash. They give me the look that says they think I’M the cunt !.
Most of them genuinely believe they’ve just come back from a two year government funded holiday, the exception usually being the ones running their own businesses, suprisingly.

I live in Sussex (Brighton to be precise). Over the past 10 years the population in the county has gone up by just over 10%. That’s mainly due to immigration and “White Flight” from London! During those 10 years we have had no increase in the number of GPs while the number of hospital beds in the county has been reduced!! We’ve had no new facilities for capturing and distributing drinking water, no new sewage facilities, no new schools, less Police officers, more traffic congestion, no increase in electricity generation, a reduction in the amount of social housing available to the indigenous population, an increase in crime and house prices have more than doubled!!!
Meanwhile despite no increased level of spending on infrastructure or public services we’ve seen Council Tax and other local taxes double, as well as increases in tax from central government, and an increase in costs for utilities, such as water, gas and electricity, of about 400%!!
Our ability to influence anything either at a local or national level is zero! Just how much more of this shit are we expected to put up with??!!

You have to vote as far right as you possibly can.
Unfortunately, with the absence of UKIP, that means Conservative, who we now know won’t address any issues that we find important.
They’re about to appoint an Indian as the Prime Minister for fuck’s sake.
I don’t remember voting for that.

I’ll vote for Reform UK. A vote for the current conservatives is really a vote for Labour in a dinner jacket.
Ignore the scare over negative voting; it’s a trick pushed by Neofeudalists in different colour rosettes. Whether you vote Labour, Lib Dem or Tory, you’re getting Neofeudalism

And on my way down, I caught the side of my head
On a protruding brick chip
It was the government’s fault
It was the fault of the government
I was very let down from the budget
I was expecting a one million quid handout
I was very disappointed
It was the government’s fault
It was the fault of the government
It was the fault of the government
I became a semi-autistic type person
And I didn’t have a pen, and I didn’t have a condom
It was the fault of the government
I think I’ll emigrate to Sweden or Poland
And get looked after properly by a government

The Eurozone isnāt far behind us on inflation, but why are prices so high, gas and oil from Russia seems to have put the whole market into a steep incline.
The USA is now an exporter of gas, what the fuck is happening, in Germany some public buildings have turned off heating (not sure why they would need it in summer) and hot water.
The UK went fro coal to gas, cleaner and much easier to switch on and off when producing leccy and we donāt import from Russia but itās āWorld Marketsā
The government can do much more, remove the Green levy on electricity bills, remove the crippling fuel duty on petrol and diesel, what is the problem, 52p off a litre overnight.
No one in the media dares to mention 2 things which would go down well with the people of the UK.
Scrap the TV licence, we have more fucking channels than anyone would ever need, no fucker would miss the BBC.
Reset overseas aid to fucking ZERO.
Why the fuck are we spending so much on benefits when there are allegedly over a million vacancies in the UK.
We are being played. (And taken for fucking mugs)

Itās totally engineered. Itās the dawn of the great reset.
You will own nothing and youāll be happy.
If youāve not looked into it now might be a good time to start.
https://www.weforum.org/great-reset/
In Holland they are battling farmers over new environmental rules but the farmers suspect the new regulations are designed to push them out of business. Their land to be bought up and eventually used to build housing for immigrants.
In Canada the trucker convey participants had their bank accounts frozen, Trudeau wanted to extend this to anyone who donated money to the truckers.
Energy companies are making record profits which suggests the price rises have more to do with profiteering than supply.
Business and Public services are screaming for more immigrants to fill vacancies but the government wonāt invest in infrastructure to support more people which inevitably means service standards drop and drag our standard of living with them.
All this is modelled and they know what the outcomes are.

Itās not a theory itās a published policy of the world economic forum.
20
@SV
I know that yet it’s still a conspiracy theory to a lot of people.
Rutte even tries to dismiss it as such in that video.
Fast forward a few months and the farmers are protesting in huge numbers at being fucked over by Rutte.
Surprise Surprise.

Thats right SV. Far from it being a secret conspiratorial ‘plan’. It is out in the open, loud and proud–

We sometimes talk about hunger in the world as if it were a scourge that all of us want to see abolished, viewing it as comparable with the plague or aids. But that naĆÆve view prevents us from coming to grips with what causes and sustains hunger. Hunger has great positive value to many people. Indeed, it is fundamental to the working of the worldās economy. Hungry people are the most productive people, especially where there is a need for manual labour. – UN Chronicle, the flagship magazine of the UN ~ 2019

I like to remind people that it should not be called The Cost Of Living Crisis, but the Cost Of Lockdown Crisis. Then throw in a crazy green energy policy and we have the perfect storm. The people are being conditioned to have rationing of everything they used to take for granted; stuff that they should still have access to if these wankers were not following a global agenda.
16
The waste of this present Government beggars belief. Ā£37 billion on track and trace that didnāt even work, Ā£400 million on the Nightingale Hospitals that not one person was admitted too, Ā£40 billion on HS2 and rising instead of just improving the present network, Ā£1 billion to Ukraine and rising with no end in sight, etc, etc, etc. The easiest thing in the world is spending other peoples money. If I was in charge, the first thing I would implement would be non government oversight on spending. A war on waste. The NHS in particular. I would save billions, to be then spent on infrastructure, border defence, veterans care, affordable housing for deserving people not the detritus of the world. I can but dreamā¦..
24
BF@ Afternoon BF, as far as I am aware HS2 is now estimated at 126 million and they are busy chopping out all the northern areas.
Another overpriced unnecessary con trick.

Mark my words, at some point these āsmart metersā will be used to allocate you a daily āgreenā energy ration. After that, you will pay a green tax on every āexcessā kwh. It will be a great new green idea floated by some cunt at the wef etc.
Sometime After that energy will be rationed and it will just cut off until the next day when your allowance is used up.
If you think its a conspiracy and If you dont believe that theres a simple firmware update they can do to the meter to achieve this then you are a gullible cunt. The smart meter can send your readings every 20 minutes.
26
That is why I have refused one each and every time they insisted I have to have one. Until I am forced to have one by law, they can fuck off. Then they can still fuck off.
33
No bother, disconnect the tails and put them straight into the consumer unit…. pull the main fuse first though..
9
The consumer unit is at the opposite end of the house to the meter.
3
Scottish Power is now trying to scare me into having a smart meter fitted on the basis that the old meter may now be ‘dangerous’. I shit you not.
They are desperate to put the equipment in place so they can control not only generation but consumption of energy too.
Cunts.
21
Smart = anything but.
11
Same here Paul. I was told ”It’s a legal requirement” My reply was do you want me to make a complaint to OFGEM? Sounds of rapid back peddling. I have told them they can put a heritage meter in, the smart ones they can insert up the Bourville Boulivard. CUNTS

By design, or by accident, politicunts have brought about the fuel and inflation crises. OK, COVID might have been released into the wild unannounced by the Chinks but did we really need to throw the kitchen sink at it in a totally random way? Some (cheap) anti-viral drugs (that donāt further line the pockets of the elite) may well have ameliorated the worst effects if administered early enough. But, Orange Man supported the idea so that was shut down forthwith (funny how the NHS now administer anti-virals in the early stages of COVID for vulnerable patients – no, nothing to see here, move along!). Instead Slimak threw mostly untargeted Ā£billions (a small amount was directly targeted for his non-working class mates of course) around willy nilly with more reckless abandon than even Corbyn might have down. No tightening on spending to fund it though (the white elephants of HS2, Net Zero et al continue to be priorities) but inflation is encouraged to reduce the debt and taxes raised as well.
BTW, having touched on man made climate change, IMO itās a complete load of bollox anyway. Good article on it here:
https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/the-climate-scaremongers-was-it-really-an-unprecedented-heatwave/
Then thereās the burden of unfettered immigration and sharply increased fuel prices. How do the politicunts behave in the face of these issues? Why, they āsanctionā that nasty Mr Putin over his war in Ukraine. Leaving to one side sympathy and support for Ukraine what will be the effects of these āsanctionsā. Firstly, the whole of Western Europe directly (and indirectly for the UK) is mostly reliant on Russian gas. Putin can, and will (despite the eliteās beloved EU whinging that itās unfair for sanctions to be applied in reverse) reduce (and charge as much!) or shut off this gas. Heāll probably throttle it most in winter when it will hurt most. You say the UK doesnāt use much Russian gas but it does have electricity from France and gas from Norway. Those supplies will go elsewhere. The lights will go off. We may not have a three day week like in the 70s (because weāve shifted most of our energy dependent manufacturing to China for them to save the planet with their coal powered energy) but itās like a time warp back to the bad old times otherwise.
Then thereās Putinās response to us in blocking grain supplies. This will cause massive migration to Europe (and, no doubt, the the Europhile UK as well) turning up the pressure to way beyond where it was when Callaghan was booted out by Thatcher to sort things out (and we donāt have a Thatcher this time around – Truss might beat Slimak to No 10 but she aināt no Thatcher). The West reacting to Putin is like a first year Primary student (specialising in transgender studies these days of course) playing Kasparov at chess.
Cost of living crisis?! In the immortal words of BTO: āyou aināt seen nothing yetā
10
Itās already been agreed by Ofgem, 30 minute readings and variable charging depending on demand, itās all designed to save you money on your bills, fancy a cup of tea, put the kettle on between 11pm and 6am, fancy watching a bit of TV, but it had better not be in peak time. š
7
They get fined if they miss their targets with the number of people who take up the offer of smart meters.
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/sse-fined-for-failure-over-smart-meters-x9788v2zg
My theory is that this is partly why they have increased the cost of energy over the last 7 months to try and claw back some of the cost.
Also “free” smart meters š§
No such thing as a free lunch. Someone has to pay for it at one point or another
11
Add to this the threat of a mass general strike by the various unions over pay and conditions.
It’s all very well unions demanding inflation-busting pay rises from the State, but that means higher bills and taxes for everyone else, which in turn will stoke inflation ever higher which means more pay demands etc etc.
It seems that the Silent Majority are going to feel the shitend of many sticks over the next few months especially with the predicted rise of gas and energy prices topping 80% come the next OFGEM price cap review come October and another 30% predicted in January.
The rich won’t give two shits of course but for the ordinary cunt they’re going to find themselves back in the Stone Age come 2023

There’s one thing you can count on, the rich will stay rich and the poor will stay poor. And things will miraculously improve for everyone shortly before the next election. They will do it for as long as they are allowed to get away with it.

Pretty much.

We couldn’t even agree on what measures to take in the UK, differing between the home nations.

Fishy Sunak placates the people by paying them to stay at home, but neglects to tell them he is selling Sovereign Debt Bonds to China to keep people idle, and just happens to put taxes up by a record level for those with least and give away a fucking fortune of our money to every chancer, fraudster and Family member he can – we will be paying for his insane folly for the next 100 years, and we are now effectively owned by China – Sunak has royally shafted us.
Fuel jacked up by a fortune after Biden shuts down the keystone pipeline etc and decides to start flogging the US National Oil Reserve to dictators, basic foodstuffs going up by the week with the constant scare stories about the next shortage or pandemic they have been given the script for this week.
A huge part of dictatorship is keeping the people hungry, broke, afraid and increasingly dependent of the State.
I believe either our “politicians” in general are either the most stupid, greedy soulless bastards who ever walked this earth, or they are ball deep in selling us out – there is certainly a lot of the former but I increasingly believe “our betters” are trying to engineer their vison of our future, and we are incidental in it.
I see a future of revolution or subservience.

We need a revolution now Mr. Fox

I see both Vernon, co existing for the future grab, as witnessed in Canada, Holland, Sri Lanka turned fucked and Egypt ready to default on the interest payments along with many other countries trying to stay sovereign nations but there politicians sold them down the Swanee to the IMF, London and Wall Street free money.
The interest payments on debt alone will come to haunt even the very heart of the West.
Hence the green reset to save they’re asses and that makes us mere mortals the slaves of they’re trade.

There’s nobody to vote for. For the first time I really feel that and I’m 56 years old.
I can’t vote for Liz Truss because she wants to restrict the rights to strike. Whether you agree with a strike or not it is a fundamental human right to withdraw one’s labour. Why would I vote for anyone who wants to restrict my rights? I’m a card-carrying trade union member and I will never vote for anybody who attacks the trade unions.
Never. Besides, the UK voted for Boris Johnson not for a pound shop Thatcher clone or a billionaire who thinks it’s funny that he doesn’t know any working class people.
Labour? What do they actually stand for? They sacked a front bench minister who supported workers by joining a picket line so they certainly don’t stand for the working class.
Immigrants, gays, transexuals, atheists, Muslims you name it they will support them. But you’re white, working class and male all you are good for in Labour’s eyes is to pay your taxes and shut up. I haven’t forgotten David Lammy on the morning after the referendum saying we should just ignore the vote because it didn’t go the right way as far as he was concerned. That’s the quality of MP you will get if you vote Labour.
Desperate times.
