The Green Agenda (2)

A cunting for the government’s green agenda and pushing through net zero by 2050, one of the most worrying parts of their madness is the banning of new gas boilers by 2025.

Gas central heating has been a necessity in this country for many years, it’s cheap, efficient and reliable. (I can remember from my youth having no fucking heating other than one coal fire in the kitchen).
If people think we have been shafted over Covid then it’s nothing compared to what we will be facing in just a few years time.

By all means start to reduce CO2 emissions but not at the expense of cheap efficient home heating and stop trying to have the worlds most ambitious targets, nothing in the government’s green agenda will dent the overall global emissions and will just fuck over the the British public while China, India and the USA continue to pump out vast quantities of CO2

Steve Baker, who usually applies some common sense has written about this, link provided.

  1. Excellent nom. Green? Like fuck. This planet is overpopulated. THAT is the problem. Do we need a third world? No. THERE is the solution.

    • Yes sir another big elephant in the room that the western leaders choose to ignore.

      • They’re not ignoring it. We’re included in the reduction pool.

        It’s happening now.

      • Go on, I’ll bite. What is happening now that is purposely wiping out people anywhere, let alone westerners?

      • You’ll bite. Yeah, whatever. Piss off and bother someone else.

      • Charming, I only asked you to elaborate on your cryptic presumption that we are being thinned out by state sponsored murder.
I won’t ask again, but I thought you guys always say question everything. It seems there are exceptions.

    • I don’t see how it is overpopulated as a whole. They breed like rats in the third world and ofcourse with the improvement in living conditions starvation and disease isn’t keeping the numbers in check. But I don’t buy into any of this climate or population scare mongering.

  2. I use all energy and natural resources as inefficiently and un-green as possible. I am happier envisioning the planet as a burnt wasteland and spoon faced mong Greta Thunderpants crying and snarling 😀

    • I’m the greenest cunt on the planet, me.

No sprog, no car, walk everywhere, never fly or go on holiday, never buy unnecessary crap, no mobile, use a Sainsburys 15p shopping bag till it falls apart, source all the wife’s clothes from charity shops or skips – even my lawnmower’s electric for fuck’s sake!

If the Green agenda is so popular, why have they only got one MP? Zippy’s idiot bastard half-sister Caroline Lucarse.

And don’t get me started on that smug Jonathan Bartley fuck… 😠

      • Green? You just sound like a miser, RTC. Fraser from Dads Army, except with an English accent (I hope) springs to mind 😀

      • I prefer the term ‘tight as a gnat’s chuff’ TBRILW.

Forgot to mention I only flush the toilet when the bowl is overflowing or the stench is overpowering. We’re on a water meter, you see. 😟

      • I can confirm Ruffers is as green as they come, TBRILW.
Prior to the ‘Great leap forward’ and acquiring an electric mower, the Creampuffs kept a small flock of sheep to keep the grass down at Creampuff Manor.

      • Thank you LL. Any thoughts of returning to the fold? I’ve been reduced to ironing my own newspapers recently.

      • Not that I ever buy a newspaper. We raid next door’s recycling bin for our copies.

      • RTC, one of the criteria for my house purchase was NO water meter.

        Morning, RTC, morning, LL.

      • After seeing the next door neighbours panicking about their water usage, careful with tap use and loo flushes etc you’re spot-on, RTC. I remember reading an article a few years ago where houses without meters were selling for more, even in the same street!

My neighbour bought the house next door to me from the idiot who had the water meter installed, who I tried to advise at the time he would regret it, which to my great pleasure, he almost immediately did!

I pay twice yearly and use as much water as I want….careful about loo flushes indeed, not in my lifetime!

      • I find metered water the cheapest.
I was paying more for water without a meter about 10 years ago than I do now, based on the then rateable value of the house.
RTC is lucky enough to have his own supply of water from the natural spring at Creampuff manor which he distributes around the world, even at cost price to Africa.

      • Bartley has that smug look like ‘I’ve just done a silent one and it’s going to be deadly’

  3. It’s very easy to say “no more gas or coal” but what are the alternatives? solar/wind/water energy won’t support the country because they simply don’t generate enough.

Nuclear could work but then again the same people who want to go green don’t want to touch it. So there’s no solution and it simply won’t happen. Total pipe dream.

  4. May I add the “Soylent Green” agenda too, that’s almost more sinister than this utter madness, COVID is the Trojan horse ushering in the great reset, I don’t think it’s going to end well cunters!!!

  5. I am fucked gas heating and gas hot water. Still will not be better off with electric, when its cloudy and windless won’t have any lights either. The dark ages are upon us.

  6. OK to produce 50% of the UK’s electricity by burning gas, then transmit the power over a network with 15% losses then use an inverter with 25% losses to charge your virtue signalling icon (electric car) but not OK to burn gas to heat your house. What’s a viable alternative? Maybe burn politicians instead – God knows there’s enough of the useless cunts about to keep us warm for quite some time😁

    Excellent nomination BTW👍

    • Thank you mikdys
I am all for a sensible mix to reduce CO2, the gas turbine revolution was the demise of coal, turn them on and off like a tap (almost).

It’s like all of the other ‘world beating’ ideas that comes from Boris, piss and wind.

Reduce CO2 sensibly and plant trees, all the efforts of the UK to reduce CO2 to net zero would be made nul and void with one years worth of deforestation in Brazil.

      • It’s a subject that can’t be raised enough. Green supporters (the minority IMO) are well aware of it and lap it up. The vast general public remains unaware of the grief and hardship that is being planned for them. The really worrying thing is, that although the majority have voting rights, there is no opposition to this total nonsense to vote for!

Yesterday, I visited a house in the country “down a lane and off another lane”. Lovely location and more expensive houses than the majority. The houses I drove past to get there had (single) cars like ten year old Vauxhall Vectras parked up the drive. Two people live in the house next to the one I visited. Outside there were two cars parked. A “super mini” and an £50k Tesla. As I drove past the owner was just backing his high powered, petrol burning, sports car out of the garage. How, exactly, is that saving the planet prey tell?

I could quote numerous other examples of “virtue signalling”. It makes me sick!

      • Who do you think stands to gain from all the tree planting in the UK? Yep – you guessed it – the land owning gentry, donators to the tory party. Cunts.

  7. like the eu, for forty years, there is no cunt to vote for if you dont want this shit. And like the eu it will be the working class who will be most affected. Cunts.

  8. Fucking Clown Cunt Johnson is the biggest gas boiler of the lot. Ready to spend fantasy trillions on this effeminate crap. Not content with making everyone drive fucking milk floats, he wants to remove old ladies’ heating. If the ‘jabs’ don’t kill them, the cold will. Fucking cunt.

  9. Here’s some facts for you (as opposed to political bull crap).

    CO2 annual output by country:
    China 10.06 GT
15 other countries (ranging 5.41 GT down to 0.42 GT)
    UK 0.37 GT
4 other countries on this list:

    https://www.ucsusa.org/resources/each-countrys-share-co2-emissions

Thus reducing the UK’s CO2 emissions to zero would be equivalent to China reducing its emissions by 3.5%. China – a country that has committed to “peak emissions by 2030” (in other words a country that is increasing its emissions annually). China a country with 1,082 coal powered power plants and currently building around 37 new ones each year. [I’d post more links but this site doesn’t seem to like more than one in a post.]

In other words, whether or not you believe in CO2 being the great bogeyman, the UK reducing its output of this plant food to zero is going to make SWEET FUCK ALL DIFFERENCE to the worldwide situation. At best it is BLOODY EXPENSIVE VIRTUE SIGNALLING at the expense of the poorest and most disadvantaged in our society.

We badly need to equivalent of a Brexit Party to fight this pernicious movement.

    • Spot on M our contribution to global out put of CO2 is like a fart in the ocean when compared to China’s. They are not at max outcome yet.
How will our reduction of CO2 help little Wangobo stop his house from being washed away? Will Zubuzeee have to cycle twenty miles on a bike with one pedal to obtain a gallon of bull piss? Surely this possible cause of climate change will only work if the largest producers cut back their CO2 emissions, I must be really fucking stupid as I fail to grasp how the removal of our tiny contribution will make much bloody difference even taking into account chaos, butterfly and any other fucking effect or mechanism. Just as well I taught myself to knapp flints, stone age here we come.

    • Pollution is also carried around the globe in the weather systems. Blown around by the wind and brought down in the rains so all these fucking do gooders not happy with the measly output from f the UK can fuck off. It’s not even as if the changes we’ve been forced to make keep our air clean and stop shit from blowing in from others. Cunts.

  10. Another lie just to tax us more. Tell me where will all the batteries go when the millions and millions of battery cars die. Battery heaven? or environmental earth hell. Can’t make this shit up and I don’t take it at all.

  11. Well with any hope the price of electric boilers will come down considerably in 14 years.

    • TiTS@ – I have an all electric Mitsubishi air source heating system.
Ten grand to fit and powered straight from (as CC correctly mentions) the wood pellet fiasco of Drax power station.
      Luckily I didn’t pay for it! 😀👍

  12. Boris and his ilk can promise what they like. They won’t be here to see if their fairytales come true or not.
What’s the plan? Cut off the UK gas supply? (if the Russians don’t do it first).
Close all power stations and rely on solar and wind so the plebs only have enough electricity to boil a kettle once every two days?
Forcibly remove every single petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicle from the roads?
It’s not gonna happen. If only because the worlds leading oil producing countries won’t let it happen.
I like a good fantasy story, but not when I’m being taxed for the pleasure and overcharged for my heating bills.

    • My theory is diesel isn’t going to disappear any time soon so it’s going to be better to have a diesel car long term (buy one now while they are still out of fashion). The only question will be can measures be implemented to prevent plebs accessing it and limit it to truck drivers? I suspect not because this Government is incapable of running a bath if they found it with the taps left on.

Why do I say this? Because the country relies on road transport to operate and alternative powered trucks are not only hyper expensive and impractical but there aren’t enough raw materials in the world to make batteries to power them (no matter how many 8 year olds you send down rare mineral mines to develop cancer and die before they reach their teens).

Buy diesel – you know it makes sense👍

      • I’m definitely getting a diesel next time.
        Frugal and great torque.
Fuck those stupid vehicles powered by AAA batteries and elastic bands.

      • Totally agree however I feel sorry for the likes of London residents and other cities where sad Khunt khan Wannabees are appearing with ulez type shit to do over the motorist continually. This little fucking weasel is targeting diesels destroying tradesmen’s livelihoods dependent on their vans / transport and his TFL doesn’t seem to go down well either

    • The government know that there will not be enough electricity to go round. Ownership of electric cars will be managed by their exorbitant cost and domestic use will be managed by rolling power cuts. Industry won’t exist as everything will be made in China. They know this, but are continuing the green-wash.

  13. All just ‘incompetence’ from that loveable ‘bumbling baffoon’ Bojo. Or Carrie if you like tabloid conspiracy (but not actual).

Fuck off. Cars, boilers, travel industry dead. Meat consumption will be next.

Great reset. Nothing to do with climate change (yet another fucking lie).

  14. Boris really doesn’t have a clue, he’s even worse than I thought he was going to be.

      • No, she’s not PM, that fat cunt is, it’s his responsibility. If he can’t even tell his own wife to fuck off and keep her fucking nose out of it what hope do we have with anything else?

      • Not much, I’m afraid. The Jelly is just that…..a Jelly led by the nose by Princess Nut nuts.

      • It’s not the nose he’s being led by, she’s not called Nut-nuts for nothing.

  15. This governments desire to burnish its green woke credentials ahead of every other country, at the cost and inconvenience of its citizens, is sheer madness.

  16. I watched with some interest a programme from about 10 years ago where lots of younger people were doing up house and having log burners installed. I remember back then it seemed to be a rising trend and various people extolled the virtues of having log burners.
Except that later they find that actually they aren’t quite as environmentally friendly as previously thought.
    https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/dec/18/wood-burners-triple-harmful-indoor-air-pollution-study-finds

One of the problems that nobody ever addresses is attitudes towards consumption.
If I recall correctly, bottled water wasn’t a thing until the 1990s. Now billions of bottles are produced year upon year by the likes of Cokes/Schweppes, PepsiCo, Nestlé, etc.

Here’s another example: my next door neighbours – nice enough couple in their late 20s.
Every other day DPD/Yodel/DHL/whoever delivers to them.
When the recycling bins are put out every couple of weeks their bin is overflowing with packaging, to the point they have it piled up next to it when the collection lorry comes.
They have takeaways delivered from JustEat/UberEats/ insert delivery service name here, at least twice a week – more boxes and trays etc.

That is just two people generating that much waste.

Now think of all the other families and couples that do the same thing – and it isn’t just a phenomenon unique to the UK.

Another example: China, India and other countries have an emerging middle class. These newly middle class citizens desire western goods because it is seen as a status symbol and they want to show of their wealth.
More consumption, more waste, more impact on the environment.

Are XR, Great Thunderbird etc. going to these companies and taking them to task over it??

    Didn’t think so.

I could go on, but it’s a lovely day and I am going out to enjoy the sun and listen to some 90s classics in the back garden – The Cranberries, Black Crowes, Del Amitri, Gin Blossoms etc.

    • China, India and other countries import high quality goods made in the west (does this country still make ANYthing?) whilst exporting all their shit to us.

      • Trouble is, the quality if Chinese goods are getting better all the time. Combined with the fact that we are rapidly losing the skills required ti make anything, means we are, indeed, truly fucked. But, hey , some blokes who kick a ball are kneeling for darkies. Bread and circuses.

      • Eventually these offshore manufacturers will start charging higher prices and any cost benefit will be negligible or there will be no benefit at all.

Unfortunately, once skills have been lost it can be hard to get them back again, because there isn’t anyone left to teach them.

  17. The Earth is a 6 trillion, trillion kilo ball of rock hurtling through space at 67,000 miles per hour and rotating at 1,000 mph.
It is held on its precarious axis by a satellite moon and protected by a magnetic field.
If anyone thinks that by banning gas boilers in the UK will make the slightest difference to the future of the planet then they need their heads examined.

    • I heard something about that gates cunt wanting to spray chalk dust into the fucking atmosphere and thought how good all that dust blowing around in an attempt to ‘block sunlight’ will do for our lungs. Not to mention that even were the dumb idea to work that less sunlight warmth means we will be even fucking colder. I imagine they won’t do Elon musk’s fucking ‘skynet’ or as he calls it starlink will benefit from a layer of dust no comments Ng his 5g signals. I know Elon lurks here so this is a tip off for him to go and punch Billy boys cunt in before he does something silly.

  18. I walked up the mountain behind my house last weekend, and went through the wind farm that’s situated on top. Only one of the 122 turbines was turning, and that was making a racket, like a motor was turning it, not the wind, as then, all you hear is the whoosh of the massive blades.
I wish they did work, and were efficient, but they rely on the weather, which isn’t reliable. So, it’s bollocks.

    • Bird mincers also have a surprisingly short life span (15 or so years IIRC) and the massive blades can’t be recycled. To say nothing of, when they are working, their energy being wasted at times of low demand as it can’t be stored.

Good little money earner if you are running things and your mates run companies making and installing the damn things though.

      • Good little earner if you own the land round our village, install the fucking things after local objections were overruled by government and happened to be the then PM’s father in law.

      • Yes, I seem to remember one of the Kinnocks being involved in wind farming, which didn’t sit well with me, as both parents were working for the EU at the time, who were setting out renewable energy policies including…..wind farms.

    • And who has ever carried out a study as to their environmental impact? They must affect the wind moving across the surface, so they must affect weather. You don’t get owt for nowt.

  19. We went to visit my wife’s friend about 10 years ago. She’s a lezza and her former partner was a Green Party member, or some such shit.

They didn’t have gas central heating and had a wood pellet burning stove for heating and hot water. They lived in rural Fife. She said the house was freezing in the winter, but they couldn’t get gas because they were too remote. When they split up she bought a house with a big gas boiler and considered buying a Mazda MX5 just to spite the bitch.

  20. I keep banging on about the biggest green bullshit of all, which I can see distantly from our village hillside.
    Drax power station.
A couple of miles by rail from a coal mine, now closed. (Kellingly)
Converted at huge cost and with ongoing subsidy to burn wood pellets. Grown in the US. Felled and chipped in the US using huge amounts of energy.
Shipped by land and sea to Yorkshire. Using huge amounts of energy.
Burnt producing less heat than coal and producing huge amounts of particulates which blow over Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. And crucially, producing more CO2 than the coal from the closed (2015) Kellingly colliery which was situated between Drax and Ferrybridge power stations. Ferrybridge is closed now because it used coal.
If that isnt green fucking bullshit I dont know what is. It makes me question the motives and sanity of the whole woke green shitshow.

    • Agreed. It’s a bit like the green woke cars. Batteries from rear earth minerals; mined in shit hole countries by kids. The transport of parts all over the world using diesel powered ships. All because it’s cheaper to get the rinky dinks to make the parts; rather than make them in the assembly country. It’s a fucking massive con, and it’s us who are paying for it. The winners are the Chinese. Solar panels, electric car parts ect, all rinky! But it’s ok as long as some people can brag while taking Jeremy and Jemima to school in the new Tesla. When will people realise we can’t generate enough electricity to meet the demand? It won’t sink in for some till they can’t park outside a terrace house to change at night, that’s if they can get a milk float. Or they break down on a smart motorway and have a 40tonner smash into them.

    • If you consider that the trees these fuckwits are cutting down would actually absorb and capture CO2 then they are doubly stupid!

    • I’m sure I heard somewhere that boat loads of pellets for that fucking place run in convoy a few days apart because one boat let as of wood chippings only lasts a few fucking days. Apparently the boats that bring them over are absolutely fucking massive too. Fuck knows how long the crossing takes but if this is the same place, I struggle to believe this is either cost effective or greener than coal. You bet it’s them cunts destroying the Amazon forest for making pellets. Cunts.

  21. The Greens are a bunch of idiots that do not and cannot think at scale. Most UK houses have 100A main fuses. If you add you must have an electric shower (at 45A) into the mix, an electric heat pump or storage heaters and EV charging point into the mix you’re going to have massive electricity bills. Maybe 10 times higher than at present. House incoming supply lines and main fuses will have to be upgraded and rewired due to increased electricity used by major appliances.

The wiring regulations keep changing so new installations must have metal framed consumer units. They’re talking about making AFDDs (Arc Fault Detection Devices) and SPDs (Surge Protection Devices) mandatory as of 18th Edition Amendment 2 next year. This would take the cost of a dual RCD/MCB fully loaded CU from £80 (in 2010) or £500 with RCBOs (in 2010) to £1300 with AFDD RCBOs and SPDs. Utter madness.

Energy generation is also fucked. How much gas is there left? Maybe 100 years and at least 250 years of coal but no-one wants to work in a coal mine these days and artificial CO2 emission limits wouldn’t allow it.

Plus greedy energy billing companies charging whatever the fuck they like for electricity doesn’t help either.

    • I don’t want a smart meter because I just know the greedy cunts would try to charge 10x the going rate for usage at peak time. It’s nothing to do with the consumer saving money, the lying bastards.

      • Not only that but they’ll use it to throttle your supply when demand grows (rather than upgrading the main grid). Octopus Energy have (allegedly – I can’t find the link or if quote it) trialled this for the Government. Probably where the cunts get the money to fund their annoying adverts with!

  22. The UK has one of the lowest rates of carbon emission on the planet – China, India and the US make up almost two thirds of the worlds carbon emissions – feel free to protest outside these Embassies carbon nazi bedwetters, don’t forget to get a lift in Daddys Wange Wover now kids.
Bring in birth control in the African and muslim Countries to stop the useless fuckers producing 8 and 9 kids.
Change from fossil fuel to hydro electric power which also produces hydrogen fuel for domestic gas and vehicles – carbon neutral and removes the need to get our oil and gas from despotic foreign regimes, with the added bonus of shed loads of UK jobs and technology we can lead the world in and market to every Country.
Sorted – and if someone as thick as me can work this out why can’t the “Government” and the climate loons?

    • I wonder how many hydroelectric plants would have to be built? Plenty of land by the sea though 👍

      • UC@ – There are over 220,000 inland waterways in the UK, and water wheels were used for hundreds of years to provide mechanical power and subsequently electricity.
The free and zero carbon power source is there, the technology is basic, cheap and works well with minimal maintenance – I am just baffled why we are not making much more use of this free resource. 🤷‍♂️

    • They will cull whitey before the peacefuls despite the fact white families in UK are only having one or two kids and we are outbred about 4:1. No fucking wonder, I wouldn’t want to bring kids into the world into today’s shithole britain to suffer at the hands of the likes of cunts we’ve had government us over last 2/3 decades

  23. Gas costs me 2.7p/kW.hr. Electricity costs me 14.2p/kW.hr. So, it would seem to make sense to me to buy a gas powered home generator. Anyone know where I can buy one?

    • Trouble is the cunts might shut off the gas supply.

I don’t think we are far off the point where a diesel generator run on red diesel would make better financial sense than the mains electricity supply.

BTW I would seriously consider this if the numbers stack up – it’d probably even be cheaper running it off the heating oil tank for my house and no risk of the Feds getting you!

      • Where’s the nearest set of temporary traffic lights? Time to go night shopping. Gibs me dat generator bro.

    • They want the poor to live in caves as the rich swoop over them in their private jets ready to disembark into the Rolls at the airport.
      Communism masquerading as liberalism.

  24. There was a general public caller to Talkradio one afternoon recently who opened my eyes to this boiler eradication shit. This caller was by no means a climate change deniers as he detailed all about his own solar panel installation and measures he had taken on insulation etc. He knew what he was talking about and provided the host (Ian Collins iirc) with detailed answers to all questions. The caller had done detailed calculations which he explained on air in detail about how much it would cost him to heat his home if his boiler was removed and replaced by these heat pumps and other electric shite. To develop the same amount of energy to heat his home using electric devices, he calculated it would cost 15 times what he was paying for gas and that was at today’s prices. He stated that I f course just like diesel cars, the cunts will no doubt jack the leccy prices through the fucking roof once the switch over is rolled out in quantity (apparently new builds are being forced with green shit today in preparation). It appears that in the absence of gas, we will require shitload more of these alternative green sources which are nothing but wallet raping scams. Nobody seems to be questioning the sheer shit efficiency or carbon footprint of these alternative sources either.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but we now see a massive switch in the location of these windfarms to offshore sites. Somebody doesn’t want the farmers benefitting from the income of renting out land to energy companies for these sites anymore.

Follow the money, who owns the rights to the seabed? Here is a link to enlighten you which also answers the question why Boris sold out the fishing industry in the brexit deal…. It was never his / ours to negotiate with. Now you will know exactly which jug earred EU luvvy fucked our very own fishing industry in the shadows under the disguise the government did it.

Also bear in mind in the future that if your home is dependent on electric that they will be able to kill your supply remotely with the click of a mouse should they chose to do so making the days of a home visit a thing of the past. These bastards are gonna freeze us to death and rape our wallets for every watt of power we use. Link…. http://www.environmentlaw.org.uk/rte.asp?id=281

    • Diesel genny, run it on chip oil and blow the smoke up the arse of these cunts. Fuck them to hell as far as I’m concerned 😁

      • I’m actually toying with putting in a wood burner (for standby purposes) as a couple of my neighbours have one and we have a nice woodland country park near by if these bastards try cutting off our gas. I’m sure they will accompany me on midnight raids. I think there is a thing called a back boiler behind my gas fire that I never use so I’m sure there must be a way of making the woodburner heat water in it the way the coal fire would have done as the houses didn’t have gas heating from new, just at the coal fire, the back burner and a hot water cylinder tank in a bedroom cupboard with an electric immersion element.

There was a guy in a multi storey Glasgow flat recently running a petrol generator and the council cunts weren’t happy. He even had it suspended by ropes from his ceiling to stop downstairs complaints about the vibrations when it sat on the floor. Neighbours grassed him up as they kept seeing him going in & out with petrol cans. Cunts.

    • If you can be bothered on YouTube (I stumbled across it a month or two ba k), one of the BBC’s decent “what if??” disaster mockumentaries, based on the premise that terrorists blow j1p the gas pipeline that Russia sends its gas through to Europe – and us.
Three days down the line, we”re fucked. No gas, and NO electricity. Takes quite some time to get non-gas-fired gen stations out of mothballs. Not a pleasant scenario.
Perhaps we need a similar incident to wake up the mongs as to the necessity of nuclear power, AND being self-sufficient.

    • Learn one phrase in Chinese if you stay here… “Please uncle, don’t kill me, I know I’ve done wrong, please spare me my life”

  25. I’ve a friend who works in the installation of these and he said by the time the land rental, massive concrete cube bases are installed (concrete extortionate just now as chinks consuming over 54% of worlds manufacturing building it’s infrastructure at home and in Africa) the cost of the turbine & mast and it’s installation and then it’s ongoing maintenance (says they are like triggers broom eating replacement parts continually) they take something like 94 years to pay back and I think he said expectation is lifespans f 100 years so they make profit last six years of their life. He said they are a sticking plaster for now as most nuclear power stations around UK have one reactor offline for decommissioning with their second ones being extended despite reactor cracks etc and they are gonna be forced offline in next 4/5 years. Apparently the dept of energy went this route for now as they are absolutely shitting themselves we wouldn’t otherwise meet the needs and end up with outages. Cunts should have saw this coming fucking decades ago.

    • I’m talking about the mast and concrete foundation lasting 100 years. He said they are otherwise like triggers broom having all the other parts like gearboxes propellers etc replaced hundreds of times. Not unless ive picked him up wrong and the masts also get replaced. He deals with the electrical side of the installation. I will ask him next time I see him. Maybe they need to continually plant & replace the lot 4 times / 100 years. They need to get their finger out and build new nuclear reactors instead of spaffing cash at shit lsuch as HS2

  26. One of the problems is few (if any) cunts in politics have a grasp of basic scientific principles.
They’ve all done useless degrees e.g classics, PPE (wtf is that all about?),English, History etc
(While on the subject, what sort of cunt goes to Oxbridge to “read English “
I learnt to read English at my local primary school when I was 4 years old.)
These arty-fatty idiots are unable to understand things like energy, electricity or the internal combustion engine.
They would be more at home lying in a field of daffodils, reading Wordsworth whilst playing with their cocks.
