There are distinct similarities between Starmer’s government and the rioters that at least one person here has an enormous flea up his arse about.
Well meaning people took to the streets to show their displeasure about uncontrolled immigration.
Within that group there were people intent on causing damage and also intent on looting from shops.
Many people were arrested and probably rightly so, however there were probably others that were arrested who had no part in the violence and theft.
All those arrested have been tarred with the same brush.
By setting up kangaroo courts and bringing into evidence prior bad acts that may not have included civil disobedience these people have been given punative sentences.
Consider the many hundreds of Muslim men that were and still are involved in raping young, vulnerable white girls.
It took years for the police to investigate and those that were eventually convicted mostly had sentences less than the alleged rioters.
Some were convicted and not jailed.
The people convicted and jailed for being part of the riots have been done so to deter anyone from protesting, even peacefully protesting against government policy.
The way that they have been treated and the fact that other convicted prisoners have been released early so that the jails have enough room to accommodate them make them nothing less than political prisoners.
There is also a Labour councillor who has not yet appeared in court despite calling for ‘right wing extremists’ to have their throats cut.
Several weeks ago hundreds of MP’s took their seats in Westminster.
One of their first moves was to rob old age pensioners by taking away their fuel allowance.
Only one Labour MP has come out to say that is unfair.
Now we find out that there are MP’s that have stolen thousands of pounds of tax payers money to pay the fuel bills for their second homes.
How can robbing pensioners and stealing public money be any worse than nicking a pair of trainers?

Everyone who voted Labour probably thought things couldn’t get any worse under the Tories. I think the country will get worse, not because of fiscal policy but because he and his party don’t have a clue or the vim, vigour or money to do things properly.
Cutting winter fuel payments for pensioners, releasing prisoners early because they are full and/or replaced by people that shout at police dogs. It’s a mess and it’s getting worse.
