There’s outrage on *this* site, and tabloid papers used this angle to shift units yesterday, whether genuinely annoyed or not, … but my first reaction to the nom & story (after a 24hr internet hiatus, so seeing it all at once) was to search the (only just about)convicted cunt’s name plus ‘sentence petition’, which taught me 2 things.
(1) change.org would want to get their act together, collating reaction-petitions on the same matter on the same day, as three different ones(there are probably more) showed in the results.
And (2)… OF the three petitions underway, that I saw, … there’s fuck-all interest in them. Couple of hundred combined. The third one showing, as I type, (‘jail the cunt’)(my words, not theirs).. 6 votes in the last 17 hours, for a sum total of 6.
