If I were an animal, I’d much rather get to wander about for a few years in my own habitat and get taken out by a hunter than be shut in a pen, stuffed with hormones and antibiotics then hit in the head with a bolt.
A lot of people in Northern Canada depend on taking the occasional deer to fill the freezer and in some parts feral hogs are a huge problem.
Coyotes are a huge problem too.
Only a clean kill is acceptable though.
