Fuel Price Rise Madness – Time to Make a Stand

A rather random one with regard to cunting the fkin scandalous fuel prices.

A blockade of the M62 at Ferrybridge in West Yorkshire has been arranged commencing at 6AM on 04.07.2022 – as far as I am aware it will be slow rolling vehicles as opposed to a complete stop but I would strongly advise anyone on the road and not joining in (I will be there, I want to make my public protest but I do not want to delay or piss any motorists off) to avoid the M62 Ferrybridge down on the day as this looks like quite a big one – it is part of a nationwide protest.

All are welcome to attend but our aim is to get our anger across lawfully without inconveniencing people or delaying emergency services vehicles.

Time to stand – if fuel does not come down, and fast, I will no longer be able to make a living.

I’ll second this. My eldest informed me that fuel prices had increased, literally overnight, by 7p a litre. So much for the 5p a litre reduction!

Her husband has closed down his car valeting company, due to rising costs, all fuel related.

Meanwhile, fuel companies are making obscene profits, shops are passing the increased costs onto the customers, whilst also making profits, so who is actually paying for this?

Oh, that would be you and me, and I don’t even drive.

    • Everyonesacunt@ – Diesel now over £2 a litre where I am – I get a percentage of my vehicle costs back in a year – I will no longer be in business at that point.
      I am fighting for my life as the “politicians” get free fuel.

      • Vernon I genuinely feel for you and others that need to travel for work and to earn a living. The price has doubled since Covid-19 it is time the government did something radical regarding the cost of fuel ⛽️ to help the working man.

      • I used to typically spend £170-£200 a week on diesel.

        Now I’m lucky to have a week under £300.

        Absolutely fucking ridiculous.

        Something has to be done, and fucking fast.

    It’s only a couple of years ago they were virtually giving oil away as it was so very cheap.

    Now every bugger and his dog wants it but there isn’t enough to go around.

    Instead of pissing about shipping it all over with the cargo going to the highest bidder every country that has oil within its borders should be drilling like mad bastards.

    The eco cunts and hopeless politicians mean we have no energy security at all and are hostage to the whims of fucking Arabs and other undesirable types.

    Plenty of windmills though..

    • 2 years ago the oil producers were having to pay to store it, as usual we are in the useless position of no having enough thanks to the green cunts who don’t want us to have any oil and not enough refining capacity.
      Maybe everything will stabilise when India and China are buying all the Russian oil.

  3. There is undoubtedly rampant profiteering going on cloaked by the real cost increase. That includes supermarkets. I wonder if Aldi and Lidl did fuel whether it would be quite so blatant?

The easy way to do it is to make it unaffordable to run a car……..except for the rich bastards of course…….the very cunts who are driving this green bollocks and filling their capacious pockets at the same time.       I read an article about some bloke who has an electric car, he doesn’t do many miles so he charges the battery at night on cheaper rate leccy then sells it back to the grid during the day and makes a profit. The world have definitely gone bonkers.

      By 2050 there will be more leccy used at night than during the day 😂

    Just remove number plates before refuelling, fill up, drive off.

  7. The government must be laughing is bollocks off, especially the Chancellor. All that extra tax/duty (something like 55% of every £1 of fuel you put in your car goes to that Wishy Washy Sunak cunt. No doubt to be used to invite a few more thousand of migrants to these shores).

  8. The price of petrol both sides of the pond are the deliberate policy of government. There are virtually no apprenticeships going in Aberdeen as the government has made it clear it is against drilling for oil. Without a vote we are being priced off the road by the utter cunts in government and civil service. With no one else to vote for they are shafting us all up the arse. Without a vote there is only one course of action open.

    The RAC have the right idea, a sliding duty scale, as the price increases the duty decreases that way the price can be stabilised.
    I agree that the fucking retailers are making a killing, they should be selling a zero profit until the global prices come down.

  12. Why was there all this ‘Big Reset’ shit just because we were in a Pandemic. What’s one got to do with the other? They treat us like naughty and thick children who don’t have minds of our own and who can see through their blatant bullshit. Has anybody thought of the mental health aspect of everything going up? Would be interesting to know the suicide rate of the poor buggers losing their homes, businesses etc. The billions upon billions that this present government has wasted on shit that doesn’t even work, immigration, Ukraine etc. The first thing I would do if in power would be war on fucking waste. I’d save billions in a week and the ordinary working class bloke would better off also.

  14. No matter where the crude oil comes from, it is always priced in the $ on the world markets, as the $ is the most widely used currency. With the £ being low right now, another reason why we are paying so much.

The middle class are self sufficient freedom loving individuals who want to be left alone. There is no place for them in the New World Order.

I guess all the power for the lights, amps and food outlets came from unicorn farts? And all the trucks bringing the acts, and the fans. I wonder if they ever publish the figures? While I’mm on the subject, why is it that the fans at Glastonbury have flags form every God foresaken shithole of the world, but you never see a Union flag or St George’s cross?

    • Mnc@ – Afternoon Mnc – I am very fortunate that I can get almost 60MPG on a run, but one of my mates has a big van he does house and commercial clearances in – he is now at the stage where due to commercial tip charges and fuel prices he is having to charge a price the customers will not pay and people are increasingly turning to “cash in hand travelling transit services”, shall we say – all waste collected burned or found next morning blocking a farm track.
      It is now a day to day struggle to operate, six more months of this and the business is gone.

        Ive a commercial waste licence but the cost to tip it at the council tip is ridiculous.

        Then found a private one!
        Where it might of cost £300 at a council tip I’m tipping for £70.

        I haven’t seen any of the other removals firms there and kept my trap firmly shut,
        Otherwise if they all start using it the price will go up

  19. The price advertised here in Spain at every fuel station is not what needs to be paid at the cashier.

    Anyone coming here by car or hiring one should take note.

    An average price per litre will be shown as around 2,12 euros, diesel and petrol the same price and more than double the price of a year ago.

    When you go to pay you must ask for the discount, then you will be charged 20 cents per litre less.

    If you don’t ask then you will not be told about the discount.
    The cunt cashier will just pocket the difference.

  20. Don’t blame the retailers – they take a very small amount of the extortionate cost per litre.
    Here’s a breakdown of where the money goes (when petrol was £1.67 per litre):
    Wholesale costs 55p
    Biofuel 11p
    Retailer (garage) 13p
    Delivery 2p
    DUTY 58p
    VAT 28p

    So, that’s 86p out of £1.67 (51%) taken by the government. Diesel’s similar.
    The government could reduce the high level of ‘Duty’. or reduce VAT, or both, if they cared about us serfs. And they could leave out the Biofuel (which erodes engines). Wholesale is where the trouble in Ukraine has increased costs, but it’s quite obvious the high prices are because of our ghastly government.

    • I heard this morning that they might remove the biofuel and use the grain for food purposes instead because of Ukraine.

  22. Just for fun I checked the cheapest journey from Leicester to London, return, by train and coach. Train just under £50, coach less than £12. And getting off at Golders Green rather than Victoria coach station makes the travelling time more comparable as well. Nothing has changed. I was once given a season ticket by the company I worked for to commute from Leicester. It cost £2450 for 6 months. In 1990. It now costs over £6300.

  24. If the fat clown snoring in Downmarket Street gave a fuck he could cut fuel duty by 50% for 12 months – but he would have less money to spunk on windmills.
    Independent hauliers going to the wall by the day, businesses and lives being destroyed just after the worst two years of trading in recent history, but rich tea Sunak has the answer – cut fuel duty by 5P a litre (so how did the prices jump up 10P a litre overnight Rishi? – bit of profiteering going on there?) – fucking genius! 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤡🦄
    It’s like offering a discount on yacht varnish to a Man in a sinking lifeboat, and once again I do not believe this situation has arisen by accident.

    I only ever put £20.00 worth in at at time so it really doesn’t affect me.

  26. Understanding the tax system helps with this issue.

    There’s VAT on fuel, so the huge price increases substantially increase the intake to the tax man.

    Hauliers bitch about diesel prices but can claim, the VAT back.

    Fuel duty is fixed per litte not a percentage.

    Because of the huge increase in VAT revenue, I see no reason why duty could not be reduced temporarily until the current situation eases. This would need to be tempered by the fact the amount on which VAT is levied includes the fuel duty, so it’s a double whammy.

    Hard to see why Sunak doesn’t reduce the duty on fuel when you look at all the facts. At the moment, he’s coining it…

    I saw an interesting idea the other day.
    As a nation , we choose to boycott one major forecourt. For example let’s choose Shell. Nobody uses their garages at all for the foreseeable.
    There will be no need for any panic buying as all the others are available and shell are still there if you’re desperate.
    See how long it takes for something to happen as their turnover falls through the floor and their on site shops can’t sell anything either.

  28. We could all live as we did do during lockdown. I didn’t put any petrol in my car for 3 months during that. See how long they’ll take to lower prices if everybody does that.
