WPC Ruby Begum, Metropolitan Police Officer, and a slightly complicated nom!

Allow me to introduce you to WPC Ruby Begum, a muslim WPC. Ms Begum has put some very nasty, anti Semitic and seriously racist tweets on Twitter under the name “Ruby_Beees”, as well as having online contact with a Woman who is strongly believed to be a recruiter for ISIS. (Although I would stress this part is not proven at the time of posting)

This is, of course, when Ruby gets time off from her day job of refusing to wear full police uniform and leathering the shit out of law abiding anti lockdown protesters.

“Just a moment”, I thought to myself – “if this was a white heterosexual Male police officer who got up to this they would probably be immediately sacked and
given todays political climate would be seeing the inside of a prison cell” so I decided to make a complaint to the MET – this is the FUCKING ASTONISHING response:

“Thank you for your complaint in relation to a Metropolitan police officer who has made anti-Semitic comments and other disgusting remarks on social media. (*Thus admitting serving WPC Ruby Begum broke the law*)..

We are sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction and of any frustration that this may have caused you. Unfortunately your complaint will not be subject to further investigation.

Police complaints are governed by the Police Reform Act 2002. Section 12 of the Act defines those persons who can make a complaint. In order to be eligible you must be either be, a person directly affected by police conduct, a person who was adversely affected by police conduct or a person who witnessed the conduct at first hand.

Any person who is aware of police conduct through a third party or, through a medium such as television, will neither be a witness, nor can they be adversely effected.

For further information, please see the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) Statutory Guidance at www.policeconduct.gov.ukor consult the Police Reform Act 2002 (amended 2020) at www.legislation.gov.uk.

Whilst your complaint does not meet the requirement for an individual investigation, we will be reviewing your concerns to see if there are any lessons that can be learnt.

Meaning? “You cannot make a complaint or allegation against any UK Police Officer unless you were directly involved or affected”.

Then this from The Metro:
“On the anniversary of the atrocity in 2014, she is said to have written: ‘Must be stupid if you think I’m gonna do 2 mins silence for 9/11’.
The Muslim police officer is accused of using the highly derogatory term ‘kuffar’ to describe non-believers.

She allegedly posted one tweet in July 2014 saying: ‘Kuffar lips have been all over my mug, there is no way I’m using that thing again.’

Ms Begum is also said to have made a series of anti-Semitic comments on her Twitter feed, which has now been deleted.
Scotland Yard has now launched a probe and referred the matter to the Independent Office for Police Conduct”.

So, I am told by The MET I am not allowed to complain about her conduct and clearly unlawful behaviour while Scotland Yard are saying she is being investigated and placed on restricted duties.

These lying fuckers can’t even get their stories straight.

    • DtC@ – It is the Mets interpretation of the law – I reported this as a crime (which it is under current legislation, the Met refused to classify it as a crime even though it clearly is) and the Met responded with the stuff I posted.
      It is NOT the job of the police to decide what is and is not crime.

    There is no legal definition of hostility so we use the everyday understanding of the word which includes ill-will, spite, contempt, prejudice, unfriendliness, antagonism, resentment and dislike.”

    Begum is clearly subject to this legislation, and it only requires someone – anyone – see above – to report the crime to the police. As hate crime. Not as a complaint.

      • Sorry, looked from the nom as if you had made a complaint headed for the long grass. If you made a formal allegation of an actual specified crime (publication on social media of material intended to incite – or some such), I think you should have got an incident number at least. Did you? Try the PCC, as if that would get any results, but at least it’s an irritant. Are you personally in the Met area? Maybe explore the options of offended people complaining from other police areas. The material was not confined to London, but broadcast.

        It’s definitely a cunt, and I do support your cunting. Much more potent would be the interest of the CST – the UK Jewish watchdog organisation, which is extremely sensitive to antisemitism. A word or two in the right ear would probably confirm that the skids are already greased for la Begum.

Komodo@ Apologies – couldn’t post on your original comment – I did initially report it as a crime as opposed to a complaint and asked for a crime number to be assigned, the Met refused to do so as THEY had decided – without investigation – that it was not, but with de facto admittance of criminal liability by their response. (The evidence is all over twitter, many, many posts).
    Sly, lazy, traitor gaslighting rats – I imagine the decent coppers left are grinding their teeth with frustration.

    • Ok, got you, sorry. The CST (mentioned above) are effectively but semi-formally a community police partially funded (They’re not short of a bob) by the Home Office.
