  15. All she had to do was use different words. Instead of using ‘liar’, she could have easily have asked if Mr Johnson misled the house unwittingly as she believes other information renders earlier statements inaccurate and perhaps Mr Johnson would like to bring new statements to the House etc. A civilised way of implying J’accuse without saying it.

    Everybody knows you can’t stand up in the HoC and accuse a member of being a liar; unless you retract the accusation the Speaker boots you out. Maybe she wanted to go shopping or get home in time to let the heating engineer in to service her boiler, paid for out of expenses..
