These people ought to read V.S. Naipaul, one of the few Nobel Prize winners who actually deserved it. Naipaul was born in Trinidad in 1932 and was a descendant of poverty-stricken Indian indentured laborers brought there by the British to harvest sugar cane. I definitely suffer from unconscious bias. Yesterday, I saw a black bloke (rare in these parts, at the moment anyway) in the car park outside work, and he was acting suspicious, like he was checking the cars. If it was a white cunt doing it, I would have either told him to fuck off, or called the police, but I did nothing, because inside I felt I could be guilty of victimisation for suspecting a minority of such behaviour.
