I checked back with Google news, and Leslie Ash did receive her £5M compo from the NHS as per reported in a Guardian article all the way back in January 2008.
Absolutely and utterly fucking ridiculous, it wasn’t MRSA that “ruined her career”, it was having dodgy plastic surgery on her mouth that when wrong, and being punched in the face by footballer(s).
