Never had a problem with vegetarians, but there is something different about vegans, and don’t they love to tell you about it. I respect other people’s decision to do what ever they want, as long as it has no effect on me. I would never start a campaign, or pressure group to force someone to eat meat. If I did, I’d expect it to be thrown in my face when I started being a cunt, as is the case with queen snowflake. Is this the new social conscience film from the millionaire Ken Loach?
I remember having to watch Kes as part of English on one of those muckle great TVs on a rolling plinth inside a great wooden cabinet (the likes of which would give the health & safety masses angina these days), and read the book in high school as part of that year’s literature tutelage.
I can understand Loach’s “social conscience” during the 1960’s but 50yrs on (and many successful films later) this truly is just pandering to the faux social consciences of what liberal middle/upper class folk think is what they should think.
Just as they think they know what’s best for working class folk and that working class folk are patently too stupid to vote or make decisions when we have these doyens of social and moral conscience to do that for us (a’la Lily Allen apologising “on behalf of” the whole of our country – actually just the thick working class part of the country).
