Amen! I don’t know what pop radio was like in the UK in the late 70’s and early 80’s, but these twats made it near unlistenable. In the days before satellite and internet radio, it was a bitch trying to hear new stuff, and hearing “Rich Girl,” “Maneater” and the the rest of their bushel barrels of shit every fucking hour was near maddening.
The only amusement to be derived from these assholes was speculating on whether one or both pole smokers, and if they were in fact gobbling each others knobs. Yes, it’s a pitiful pastime but not as sad as actually listening to Hall & Oates.
