George Abaraonye
Mr Abaraonye sounds like a right charmer.
Who he? Well Abaraonye is an Oxford University student, and president elect of the Oxford Union, a debating society in the city. In May of this year, Abaraonye took part in a debate with American conservative activist Charlie Kirk at the Union. Since then, of course, Kirk has been brutally gunned down while speaking at a university meeting In Utah, by some nasty little scrote with a grudge who is now behind bars and looking at a death sentence if found guilty.
So what was Abaraonye’s response to this appalling assassination, which took place in full view of hundreds of people? Well, it seems that he was on soshull meeja like a rat up a drainpipe, posting ‘Charlie Kirk got shot, let’s fucking go’, then ‘Charlie Kirk got shot, lool’.
For fuck’s sake; does he actually believe that this murder was acceptable, a laughing matter indeed, because he disagrees with Charlie Kirk? . Kirk was a young man who leaves behind a wife and two infant children, and this is Abaraonye’s reaction. Couldn’t he have shown a little dignity and self-restraint, a little common decency under the circumstances? It appears that I’m not alone in expressing this opinion; there have been a number of calls for Abaraonye to quit as president, and his comments have been absolutely condemned by the Union itself.
Not surprisingly, Abaraonye seems to have since tried to weasel his way out of the situation, with the usual ‘acted unthinkingly and in haste’ line, but he’d let the cat of the bag and the damage is done. I think he’s demonstrated where he stands.
Now I have to say that I write as someone who passionately believes in freedom of speech, and therefore will state for the record that Abaraonye has every right to put his views out there if he wants to, no matter how crass and undignified I and anyone else may find them. That’s what ‘freedom of speech’ means to me. By that same token however, I have every right to say that in my opinion, Abaraonye and his attitude simply stink the place out, and that he should resign his position and fuck off before he brings any further discredit to an august institution.

Anti Freedom of Speech
A nomination to those that wish to silence freedom of speech. I’m going to be careful with my terminology (Admin). The lefty that assassinated Charlie Kirk, someone that possibly didn’t possess the literary skills to debate their opinion, someone that was possibly scared to hear an articulately spoken retort that was probably the thoughts of the majority, probably too scared of the distain their outburst would be met with, took someone’s life. A father, a husband, son, grandson, I’m sure you get the idea.
There are certain lines that must never be crossed when expressing Conservative opinion, incitement, hateful language, even racial language. None of these lines were ever crossed to my opinion when Charlie Kirk debated any particular issue, although I’m not going to pretend I agreed with everything he had an opinion on but isn’t that the whole point of free speech?
For me, the assassination of Charlie Kirk symbolises the agonisingly slow deconstruction of free speech in the Western world, piece by piece, word by word. The thing for me that makes this so abhorrent is the fact that so many laid down their lives in two world wars in order for us to have the right to free speech, democracy and liberty, an ultimately selfless act that should never be forgotten.
In a world where the minority seemingly has a stronger voice than the majority, where being without a label seems to outweigh what people really are, where injustice is common place, or to be expected. I for one just can’t accept it, I’ve lived in an era when a spade is a spade, say it as I see it and exercise plain old common sense, I always felt I had the ability to speak freely,
unfortunately I’m beginning to feel that this is no longer the case.

Rooskie Drones
The standard Rooskie method of warfare is the “Meat Grinder” as all those involved in one on all sides term it. So what to do? Drones seem to be getting in everywhere and they are cheap and relatively easy to make. Nasty things too – eyes in the sky generally remotely controlled from a base far away. They provide 24hr info and can kill indiscriminately. Perfect for a maniacal ex KGB killer cunt like Putin. The Rooskies make their own short range drones but also buy a lot in from friends in Iran and North Korea. You guessed it. “Air Fryer” is now the new “Meat Grinder”. As a much cheaper way of inflicting death and destruction, I give you drones. So long as the Rooskies can afford them they continue to send wave after wave of the bastards (800+ recently) at mainly civilian targets in Ukraine.
Drone Wars better than Nuclear War? Unfortunately some can already carry small nuclear warheads and thus we are catapulted into a new Arms Race. How about Defence UK? Are we in our customary position of Tail End Charlie in any international development? Well not quite, we have a development relationship with Ukraine and will be building drones to their designs and as far as I can fathom, paying for the privilege. Another amazing deal/sell out concocted by Sir Kweer. Did we not design and build some pretty amazing and innovative aircraft at some time or is that in an old man’s dreams?
