At Fleetwood Mac’s recent O2 gig, every time Lindsey Buckingham took to the mic, some gobby pissed up cunt shouted, ‘E’s a legend! A fackin’ legend!’ every 30 seconds or so…. Mac may be legendary musical figures (be it the Peter Green vintage or the Rumours/Tusk lineup that did the O2)…. But you don’t pay top dollar to see and hear a top line act and listen to some lagered up tosser shouting it in your ear…
The thick fucker couldn’t even get Buckingham’s name right… He also kept shouting, ‘Lesley! Lesley!’ I expected him to shout ‘Nice one, Steven!’ at Stevie Nicks…

I agree blind faith cover wasn’t done in good taste they should had a drawing or something like disraeli gears, though it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be still a dumb idea . It was actually money grabber Stigwood who employed some dodgy photographer they were gonna use a 14-yr old(which would of been better) but instead the cunt used the 11yr old sister (she wanted a horse instead she only got £40). Although I really like the music in it like “Sea of Joy” “Well Alright” “Presence of the Lord” and “Can’t Find my Way Home” masterpieces actually every song on there was, they should of stayed together some of the songs are better then some of Creams songs .

Blind Faith – Cream with Winwood shoehorned in. Didn’t really work did it? Tried to do a CSN with Neil Young shoehorned in but at least that worked for a while. Their later stuff is very mediocre tho’

Blind Faith was amazing but things broke off before it took off they all left off from there bands and didn’t tell their members especially ex-family member Ric Grech (great bassit) and Steve Winwood. 1 studio 1 live album and a unofficial bootleg. Honorable mentions are “Don’t care” , “We free Kings”( which has a female cockney rhyme throughout) 12 gates to the City” and Early in the morning. If you got to see them live I envy you I wasn’t born yet and they only had like 4 or 5 shows in total . Also Baker poured his heart into that band, getting 18 band members isn’t cheap its not like nowadays where some cunt flips open a Macbook and twists abunch of knobs you rarely get that kind of commitment these days .

Traffic were pretty good, but Winwood never did much after that…. Agree about Brown without Stone and McCartney without Lennon…. Same goes for Paul Simon… The bloke may have a massive ego, have napoleon syndrome, and big himself up (which he does!), but he knows for all his ‘Graceland’ and ‘World Music’ twaddfle, he will never reach the heights that he got to with Simon & Garfunkel in the 60s… Of course Simon hates that (and he spat his dummy out at the time over people always praising Art and his great voice)… But Paul Simon as a credible artist of note finished with ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ in 1970…..

I think Denny Laine is alive and well… From what I heard Denny wanted Wings to tour in 1981, but after Lennon’s murder McCartney went off radar for a good while…. Denny didn’t want to hang about, so they parted company… Denny is on both 1980’s ‘McCartney II’ and 1982’s ‘Tug Of War’ albums…
Last heard of Denny playing some Beatles convention in Liverpool… Why the fuck he’d want to go there, I’ll never know…
