  1. Well… I’d say he could be considered for the role of honorary/temporary cunt, when he writes those “Open Letters” on LTW, because he is simply aiming to hurt people and humiliate them, if they differ from his political view. This is cuntliness in its purest form.

  2. No disagreements there I love Frank Zappa always have, but still think he’s a bloody cunt for screwing over the original mothers of invention who knows maybe he got some karma shite because of it when he got cancer I dunno, definitely died too young a great musician & composer with a really impressive catalogue of music definitely alot more then most . Titties and beer is a really good song but he really pussifed the devil in that song bit too much still a fun song though if you can take it for what it is . Being a fellow zappateer I can tell you theres two versions of this song the other one is called chrissy pukes twice(’76) with slightly different lyrics for those who are interested.

  3. I can’t agree that Zappa is cunt either, but I don’t know the details of what he did to the “mothers of invention”…

    • I’ll give you the short version because the long version would fill 5 pages of writing. Ray Collins (superb singer amazing voice), David Coronado, Ray Hunt, Roy Estrada and Jimmy Carl Black formed The Soul Giants. Frank Zappa liked them alot and all the other bands of the time didn’t suit his tastes or preference. Zappa and Ray had practically the same record collection. Zappa told the Soul Giants to play his music instead of covers because if you were unknown and played your own music you wouldn’t get hired from the bar/lounge. So they took the risk playing Zappa’s material on his word that he would make them rich and famous he fulfilled half of that deal really screwing them out of royalties and taking full credit of everything the mothers of invention did, he basically felt that he was the mothers. He remixed 3 albums replacing the mothers of invention contribution and paying the studio musicans more then what he payed the mothers. Zappa didn’t only screw over the original mothers but others too including Wild Man Fischer. I also think his best material was with the original mothers, Flo and eddie are a close second the turtles were pretty good too many people slag them off for no reason other then they are wanks with missing ears, the Waka Jawaka album was good too, also Petite Wazoo and Grand wazoo was really great too if you appreciate big band. Zappa’s 80’s period was somewhat disappointing but was better then most of that era “you are what you is” was personally a disappointment to me aside from a few tracks the best thing Zappa did in the 80’s was “Make a Jazz Noise Here” and then he got prostate cancer .

  4. I agree, Frank didn’t treat the original/classic Mothers very well… I love Hendrix, but he was a cunt to Noel Redding… Brian Jones could be a cunt, but Mick and Keith have been just as big cunts in their time (especially to Jones himself)… Roger Waters made Rick Wright’s life a misery (and he actually sacked Rick from Floyd!), Bolan was a cunt to Tony Visconti and the classic T-Rex lineup… And David Crosby was a total knob in one of my all time favourite bands, The Byrds…. They all did some cracking music, mind….

I also agree that John can sometimes be smug and condescending on his Louder Than War site….

    • Mick & Jagger really screwed Brian Jones over they also never credit him with anything, barely ever saying a good word about him the Brian Jones era and the Mick Taylor era was the best stuff the rolling stones put out. For some reason I never really cared for Exile on Main Street aside from a few songs Christgau somehow gave it a A+ figure that one out The Stones also could of had Steve Marriot in their band but Jagger fucked it up cause he’s a self absorbing cunt. I think Roger Waters had a good excuse to get rid of Wright and leave the band. Wright’s contribution was getting weaker by the moment since WYWH and Roger was coming up with most of the music and lyrics including all the guitar, keyboard and drum parts for Animals ,Wall, and Final Cut. After the Wall & Final Cut david and co. basically said what else have you got? they were hopelessly leeching off Waters. Barely contributing anything apart from a few things and only have themselves to blame for him leaving. That’s just my two cents I know the PF history very well then most so I don’t really believe Gilmour or Wright when he says Waters was being a fascist meanie its a cop out from them.

      • Fair point… Nick Mason (or Syd, for that matter) never had any real complaints about Waters, and as for sacking, McGuinn sacked Crosby from The Byrds (and Crosby will be the first to tell you he deserved it).. So maybe Rick was an awkward man to manage… True about The Stones: only Watts and Wyman will really acknowledge Jones and what he contributed… Keith does sort of give Brian credit in his autobiography, but it’s minimal and you can tell it’s reluctant… Both Marriott and Clapton were earmarked as potential replacements for Mick Taylor, but Jagger would not stand them taking the limelight… Agree about Exile too… I like ‘Goats Head Soup’ better and ‘Sticky Fingers’ pisses all over ‘Exile…’

      • David Crosby is a untrustworthy arsehole from what I read he’d once signed with a label spent the advance on cocaine then go to another recording company and sell the master tape to them. He was a real junkie and it’s one of the reasons neil young won’t talk to him. Terry Melcher was once asked who the most objectionable (untrustable, liar) person he’s ever met he said 1st was David Crosby 2nd was… Charles Manson yikes. Weird thing about Syd he actually put all the blame on himself being the humble guy he is in his very last interview and in the same interview he praised ambrose slade and Family. Your right Sticky Fingers was one of the stones best records they released with Mick Taylor. I’m just confused why exile is so acclaimed did they send every music reviewer in town a free gram of cocaine? on second thought it’s my problem not the people who actually enjoy the bleeding album.Yeah the byrds are alright My favorite record by them was The Notorious Byrd Brothers without Crosby. Jim Gordon’s drumming on that album is phenomenal this was before he murdered his mother with a hammer and knife god what a waste of bloody talent. The stones would of been amazing with Clapton or Marriott

      • Even The Beatles were after Clapton… Lennon actually suggested that they approach him to join the Beatles… I love ‘Notorious’ too… Gordon was a fine drummer (the Derek & The Dominos album is great)… Gene Clark was my favourite Byrd… He does briefly appear on ‘Notorious’ and his ‘No Other’ album is great… Gene was the Byrds best songwriter and he was responsible for at least 90-95% of ‘Eight Miles High…’

Also, one can only imagine what Floyd would have gone on to achieve with a fully functional Syd Barrett at the top of his game… God rest his soul…

  5. WOW – thanks for the info about Zappa… I had no idea, but then I have to weigh it up and “Tittles and Beer” is genius…
In my opinion, John Robb isn’t a cunt on LTW, unless he is going on about Katie Hopkins,.. (who is his secret girlfriend by the way.. Ssssh…. don’t tell anyone….)

    • No problem, titties & beer is pretty good but the stuff he did with the original MOI and flo & eddie era are loads better in my opinion. Zappa best albums are Freakout it was also the 1st double album in rock’n’roll to my knowledge, Absolutely Free,We’re Only in It for the Money, Uncle Meat, Hot Rats is really good but I always hated the willie the Pimp,Fillmore East – June 1971. Zappa in New York, and the original Sleep Dirt was amazing . Zappa also created alot of shite too but considering he made 100 official albums this is expected. Joe’s Garage is quite possibly the biggest piece of shite Zappa recorded but it has probably one of the best instrumentals recorded in history Watermelon in Easter Hay it has 3 other decent songs as well. Here’s http://www.killuglyradio.com/2009/05/31/conversations-with-jimmy-carl-black/ the kill ugly radio wiki everything you possibly wanted to know about Frank Zappa and the MOI is located here its quite detailed and informative much more then most places.

    • Bee gees are disco having cunts mate they deserve all the stupid questions they can get . Do I also have to remind people of their terrible sgt.peppers tribute album..cringeworthy piss taking assholes, they are. The best they have done was the 1st and odessa because of the orchestra they hired. They are the biggest sellout wankers ever! to be apart of disco and ruining lifes through cocaine, bad shitty music, wife swapping and being abunch of cock having poofters. How deep is your love? Fuck’em! How deep is their arse? from being pounded by Robert Stigwood money grabbing cock

    • That uploader is on acid the song is about John lennon he didn’t contribute to it he was dead by then it was on harrisons Somewhere in England which was slagging off Lennon’s some time in new york city

      • All Those Years Ago was written for Ringo Starr (who drums on the track), but Ringo didn’t want to sing it, because the original lyrics were less than complimentary to Lennon (who Ringo never fell out with)… John and George were not on speaking terms at the time of Lennon’s murder… John was upset that he was hardly mentioned in Harrison’s autobiography (I Me Mine)…. After Lennon’s death George re-wrote the words as a tribute to John kept the backing (and Ringo’s drum track) and McCartney added backing vocals… So all three surviving Beatles were invovlved… Lennon was, of course, unavoidably detained…

      • Yeah the beatles are bitter cunts Maca and ringo seem the least bitter of the 4 but still arseholes in there own special way. Denny Laine was also on the song he was probably the best thing about wings and made a great addition to Ginger Bakers Airforce’s 2 https://youtu.be/U9LuLHJXbiY

      • Agree. Denny Laine was the best thing about Wings.
Worst was “Mull of Kyntyre”… the fact that it was Number One in the charts for about a year, has caused many a seventies child to end up on the Psychiatrists couch… in fact, I venture to propose that the entire Punk movement was a primal screaming reaction to having heard that song once too often. It is actually worse than “Imagine”, because it contains bagpipes.

  6. Thanks for Beatles info… I had no idea that “All those years ago” was for Ringo.
As for the BeeGee’s… they were doing all that because Gnosticism was fashionable… if they were famous now, they’d be doing yoga and jogging and going on Strictly Come Dancing.
So I think its just as well that they were born to a time of post war hedonism.

  7. I don’t get this website. This is meant to be John Robb is a cunt, then people start talking about other cunts.
Back on topic – Robb is no doubt a cunt, an anarchist cunt who’ll say anything that goes against the grain to get noticed, cos mummy never loved him. You just have to look at his hair to know he’s mentally ill and narcissistic.
I remember him trying to talk politics, he’s probably looney left, and he denied that society and people’s public behaviour had declined since the war, when obviously people are getting indescriminatly murdered by psychotic Muslims in the street and chavs will stab you for fun, if their mistreated pitbull can’t be persuaded to attack you first.
Luckily, I’ve never heard his music.
